I LOVE all things Birthday! I love cake and ice cream. I love Birthday cake milkshakes. I love balloons. I love presents. I love feeling like a princess. I love being serenaded by wait staff (and grocery cashiers – yes it has happened!). I LOVE LOVE LOVE Birthdays.
When I was in elementary school, our class would always have an end of the year party. The last week of school usually coincided with my Birthday, so I usually (honestly) thought that the party was just for me. In high school, we often had final exams on my Birthday; not quite as much fun as my early years. In college, classes were out and I was usually off campus by the time my Summer Birthday rolled around. Of course, as adults, we usually have to work on our Birthday – which is only fun if you are blessed enough to be in a workplace that will actually celebrate.
